MANAWA FIRST. ONE EYE WHEN YOU'RE READY.

Every reef has its own character. We match the spot and session to your riding level, confidence and the day's conditions. Manawa offers a more forgiving introduction to reef waves, giving riders space to work on positioning, timing and turns. One Eye is fast, powerful and technical — a wave for experienced riders who are ready to take on one of Mauritius' most iconic breaks.

FAQ

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

  • What level do I need for wave riding?

You should already be comfortable riding independently and going upwind. A confident kite relaunch and good kite control are also essential before moving into reef-wave conditions.

  • Which spot will we ride?

The spot depends on your riding level, the wind, swell and safety conditions. Manawa is generally better suited to riders developing their wave skills, while One Eye is intended for experienced riders.

  • Do I need my own surfboard?

You can bring your own directional board or ask about available equipment options when booking your session.

  • Is wave riding safe for beginners?

Wave riding is not suitable for complete beginners. Riders should first develop solid kite control, independent relaunch and upwind riding skills in flatter water.

  • What happens if conditions aren't suitable?

Wave sessions depend on wind, swell, tides and safety conditions. If conditions aren't suitable, the team can recommend an alternative session or spot.
